Diane Wolf donates much needed horse blankets and tack

Monday afternoon Sanctuary volunteer Kelle Burden received a donation of horse blankets and tack from Diane Wolf. The severely underweight horses that came to us in the last few weeks may not be able to build heavy winter coats in time to keep them warm this winter. When temperatures drop, we will put the most vulnerable in the three existing stalls with blankets. We can use panels to divide a second covered area turning it into stalls as well. We will adjust the amount, kind, and time of feeding to make sure they have the nutrition to maintain a stable core temperature and I think praying would be a good idea also.

The look on my face, I was so surprized at what she was giving us, those blankets are awsome, and it was awsome that Diane Wolf gave them to the horses, because a couple of the horses will definately need that extra help staying warm and dry. Thank You Diane, and the horses thank you
