We hope to meet with our veterinarian early next week to make a decision on which medication delivery system is most appropriate for our needs. It has become apparent that a good percentage of the animals we will be working with have never been handled and are very hard to catch. We are called when the animals have done damage to property and are in danger of being shot. Our ability to respond efficiently and in a timely manner is crucial to the humans as well as the animals. A few weeks ago we witnessed the damage a wild stud horse can do when he is in pursuit of mares. The property owner could have been seriously injured as she spent several hours in the rain protecting the two mares.
We want to help!
